Weatherhaven’s TRECC™ systems provide rapidly deployable, self-contained field sanitation and kitchen capabilities designed to enhance mobility, hygiene, and mission readiness in demanding operational environments.
The TRECC™ sanitation systems deliver mission-ready hygiene and support capabilities in a compact, highly mobile configuration. Each unit can be deployed by two personnel in under 15 minutes, providing reliable sanitation and kitchen support wherever required. Designed to reduce logistical demands and improve operational efficiency, the systems provide rugged, mobile infrastructure engineered to perform in challenging field conditions.
The TRECC™ can integrate directly with Joint Light Tactical Vehicle (JLTV) platforms, providing exceptional transportability and operational flexibility. Its modular design enables rapid deployment and supports off-grid operation through integrated solar and 24VDC power systems. Advanced ventilation, water purification, and sink configurations help field teams maintain high standards of hygiene and safety comparable to fixed facilities, supporting readiness and personnel welfare in remote and austere environments.
Compact Design with Rapid Deployment
Each TRECC™ system can be deployed by two personnel in under 15 minutes. Electric actuators and high-pressure gas struts enable controlled, efficient expansion and stowage. The system incorporates a robust aluminium frame, a specialised fabric shell, and a removable inner liner, providing durability, weather resistance, and ease of maintenance while enabling efficient transition between transport and full operational configuration.
Integrated Power and Water Management
TRECC™ sanitation and kitchen systems incorporate integrated 24VDC and 120VAC power systems, supported by solar panels generating approximately 460 W. The systems include a 100-gallon insulated potable water tank with integrated level and temperature gauges, auxiliary batteries, and external fill and drain connections.
The system can both draw from and supply pressurised water sources, providing reliable hot and cold water for sanitation and food service operations. This integrated approach reduces dependence on external infrastructure and supports sustained operation in remote locations.
Advanced Thermal and Environmental Performance
Composite structural flooring, reflective insulation, and an integrated 24VDC air-conditioning system provide enhanced thermal performance and occupant comfort. Testing has demonstrated up to a 15% reduction in HVAC energy requirements compared with earlier models.
Insulated water systems, optional internal heaters, and the sealed enclosure support reliable operation across temperatures ranging from -40°C to +50°C. These features enable the TRECC™ to maintain effective working conditions during extended operations across a wide range of climates and environments.
Transportability, Integration, and Mission Flexibility
The TRECC™ combines lightweight construction with a transport configuration designed to support integration with standard JLTV trailer payload requirements while maintaining balanced tongue weight for safe mobility.
The system can operate directly on or independently of the JLTV trailer, allowing the vehicle to be released for other operational tasks once the TRECC™ is deployed. Features including quick-stow stairs, modular power pods, and camouflage-net compatibility further enhance transportability and field integration.
The result is a compact, rapidly deployable, and highly adaptable infrastructure solution that provides reliable sanitation and kitchen capabilities while extending operational flexibility and reach in remote and austere environments.
