MECC™ Transportation
The MECC™ can be commercially transported anywhere in the world by road, rail, air, and sea. When packed for transport, the MECC™ is a certified ISO container, making it convenient and cost-effective to ship. As an ISO container, the MECC™ can be loaded for shipping by using conventional methods, such as forklifts and overhead cranes. We can also provide specialty, purpose-built trailers and mobilizers for local ground transportation of the MECC™.
The MECC™’s rugged steel or aluminum construction, along with its locking systems ensures that the equipment inside the shelter is secure from theft when in transit and during deployment.
Further precautionary methods are taken by securing the contents inside the MECC™ to the shelter floor by using cargo tie down straps and rings, which prevents any damage to the equipment during transit. The MECC™ is designed with these security features so that customers have peace of mind in knowing that their Weatherhaven products will arrive intact for immediate operation.
Cost savings in shipping as the MECC™ is only 1/3 its deployed size when packed for transport.- Equipment packs into the centre core of the MECC™ and stays inside during setup, so equipment does not get damaged by outside weather conditions
