Weatherhaven’s portable surgical centres are designed to support the front lines of both military engagement and civilian emergency response. Smaller than our full-service, level III field hospitals, our portable surgical centres offer services such as stabilization, treatment, initial surgery, specialist services, limited patient holding, and clinical services such as, radiology and laboratory analysis.

Weatherhaven’s portable surgical centres can be custom-designed for your needs to provide shelters, systems, and equipment for the following:

The portable surgical centre consists of shelters that can be linked to each other or to a central corridor to form a complex. A fully enclosed corridor system allows patients and hospital personnel to move freely throughout the centre without being exposed to external climatic conditions. All of the medical shelters are accessible from the central corridor, which can also be used for patient overflow.

The interconnectability of the complex also creates a controlled climate and environment, which increases user comfort, and minimizes dirt and contaminates. This makes it easier to maintain a clean and hygienic environment, which is essential to any medical facility.
